Various shots of twisted wreckage of seaplane that has crashed into mountain. The plane was en route to Singapore from Britain. Men pick over the debris and examining it closely. Various shots of coffins of British airmen lying in state in Chappelle Ardante in Messina. Italian sailors and British Marines from cruiser Durban stand as guard of honour. Coffins are draped in Union Jacks and Flowers. Various shots of funeral procession through streets - coffins are on gun carriages.
