Israel to replace thousands of Palestinian workers with foreigners

Israel plans to hire 65,000 foreign workers from India, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan to restart the country’s construction industry, which ground to a halt after October 7. The workers are to replace all the Palestinians who’ve been dismissed in the wake of the conflict.
