Walking Vienna City, End of Hard Lockdown, Shops Reopen, Neubaugasse, Mariahilfer Straße | 4K HDR

The hard lockdown or “easter rest“ (harter Lockdown oder “Osterruhe“ ) in Vienna came to an end on the night of Monday, May 3rd, 2021. Shops, service providers such as hairdressers are opening again. Museums and zoos are opening too. But eating in restaurants is still not possible. The mask requirement in busy places was also lifted. Reason enough to visit the popular shopping streets such as Neubaugasse and Mariahilfer Straße. It’s nice that people are back on the streets. The city feels much livelier and more beautiful. In addition to Neubaugasse and Mariahilfer Strasse, I also stroll along the Neubaugürtel and Burggasse.
