Il Robot di ROBOTOR realizza la replica della Tersicore di Canova

The ROBOTOR robot realizes the replica of Canova’s Tersicore ROBOTOR-ONE by ROBOTOR has created the marble replica of Canova’s Terpsichore for the museum of Vetulonia starting from a 3D scan of the original work. Less than a week to deliver a sculpture 177cm high, finished, ready for the exhibition. ROBOTOR was born from the experience in the field of marble processing of the two partners who, in 2004, in Carrara, founded TORART. TORART uses ROBOTOR’s anthropomorphic robots for digital archaeology and artistic heritage recovery projects as well as meeting the demands of world-renowned artists, designers, architects. Replicas made possible by the operational excellence of ROBOTOR-ONE, the ROBOTOR robot “born from sculptors for sculpture“, the most advanced technological solution for the automation of the production process! OR-OS, the heart of the system, automatically processes the 3D model generating the program to be transferred to the robot without any human intervention. ROBOTOR robots operate 24 hours a day without interruption thanks to the total control of the machining process. This is how the replica of Tersicore was made, delivered to the museum without any manual finish, a work that lives its own life: as a replica it has its own clear function of representation and “memory multiplier“. Reproducing a work of art for us at TORART and ROBOTOR has become a mission: to preserve and enhance to pass on!
