Interior of the mine - men are at work with picks. “Here, deep in the hillside, the gold miners of Britain find a livelihood, hewing out the ore containing the precious metal“ M/S of two men hacking at the rock. C/U of man at work pushing a truck full of ore. He puts out his tongue in concentration as he approaches the camera. Exterior of the mine - man walks out of the entrance, followed by a truck of ore pushed by two other miners. L/S of the exterior of the mine - some buildings on the hillside.
