How we recorded our new album - DIY - Band Salat clip

Humble Thank you all who participated!!! you might still be able to catch the special deals: #/ On our new upcoming albums “Flight Mode“ and “Tremors“ a lot of the material was captured as a band. Especially Drums and Bass real lock in when playing together. The energy and interaction of playing together! Sometimes I would keep some of the guitar. sometimes I would re-record absolutely everything later. With this tune “Band Salat“ I kept a good amount of the guitars from the live take. The trio footage here is the actual take. In parts where you see close up video of guitar, you know this part was overdubbed there! Well also the finger snaps were overdubbed :) For Drums and anything that required micing we used the Lewitt Beat Kit Pro -Kit of microphones. Bass is straight DI. For guitar I use the best of best: Two Notes . M. for cabinet and micing simulation. it madr the whole production flow a dream. The central of our band is the blue cube, Soundcraft Ui24r where everything is connected for ear monitoring and multitrack capturing. This is an out take from the Album Pre-Order video. It was deleted to keep things more tight with that video. Maybe you find it interesting or entertaining.
