JUNINHO - Middlesbrough legend

Teeside favourite son Osvaldo Giroldo Junior stands at 5ft 5in and is better known as Juninho Paulista or simply JUNINHO. Little Brasilian shocked the football world when he signed for Bryan Robson at Middlesbrough for a fee of £ in October 1995. Juninho went on to become one of the finest Premier League midfielders in 90’s, and widely regarded as the greatest ever player to have worn a Boro shirt in the Modern era. He won Player of the season award in 1997, and World Cup with Brasil in 2002. The Little Fella, Maestro, Magician... these are just some of his nicknames and he’ll remain forever etched upon the hearts of Boro fans as the man who changed the english football.
