MEN OF WAR (PC): The Battle of Montauk Point - December 16th 1944 - (Alternate History)

(USA VICTORY VERSION) On December 16th 1944 at the onset of the “Battle of the Bulge“, the Germans cleverly load elements of the 1st SS Panzer into cargo ships with English markings, piloted by english speaking Captains, and cross the Atlantic Ocean.. Arriving off the coast of Long Island, New York at Montauk Point.. The ships unload under cover of darkness & land troops ashore.. By 8am the German assault begins along Hither Hills.. A Coast Guard Auxilaryman reports that German speaking troops & tanks are coming ashore at 5am that morning unbeknowgst to the Germans.. The U.S. Army Secret Base @ Camp Hero is alerted, Armor from Yaphank Armoury is rolled up to hold position at Camp Hero until furthur orders.. P-51 Mustangs are scrambled from Calverton Airport & a modest counter-offensive is mustered up by the U.S, armed forces from the area & New York National Guard.. The German objectives is to take & hold the east end of Long Island & entrench, to distrupt area shipping
