The Sad & Tragic Truth About Warrant’s Jani Lane

One of the most successful glam metal albums of the ’90s is Warrant’s Cherry Pie, and the creator behind many of the album’s songs and lyrics was the band’s frontman, the late Jani Lane. A prolific songwriter and singer, Lane was a big part of why Warrant was one of the most successful hair metal bands of the late ’80s. Even after Lane left Warrant he continued writing and producing songs for his solo career and for his brief stint with the band Saints of the Underground. But Lane’s career and life had a lot of ups and downs before making it big in the music world, including tough times and career slumps, and the challenges continued even with success. #Warrant #Music #RockNRoll Early years | 0:00 Warrant was unsigned for awhile | 1:44 Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich | 3:08 Not so sweet cherry pie? | 3:56 When Jani Lane saw red | 5:16 Mr. and Mrs. Cherry Pie | 6:32 Dog Eat Dog | 7:37 Tough times | 9:11 “I Am Jani Lane“ | 10:40
