Oscars 2024 nominations: Oppenheimer leads the pack with 13 nominations

As predicted, the Academy Award nominations followed the Golden Globes and the Baftas by showering Christopher Nolan’s talky, three-hour history lesson, Oppenheimer, with affection, only more so, with 13 nominations. Yorgos Lanthimos’s Poor Things follows with 11 nominations while Martin Scorsese’s Killer of the Flower Moon has ten. Barbie, after it was essentially slighted by the Baftas, has eight.
