【AI Colorized】A Life in Portraits 1907-1968 Ye Jinglu’s 62 annual portraits

Ye Jinglu was born in 1881, Fuzhou, China. For 62 years, took a self-portrait every year from 1907 until 1968. His portraits compiled a series of personal autobiography that across 3 eras of China: late Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China, and the People’s Republic of China. In 2007, the portraits of were rediscovered by Beijing collector Tong Bingxue. Since 2011, the portraits have been on a travel exhibit around the world. It went viral in China and until now.
