Sweden refuses to extradite terrorism suspects to Trkiye

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken claims that Sweden and Finland joining NATO is basically a done deal – yet Stockholm has refused to comply with a request from Türkiye, which is a bloc member, to extradite two people suspected of ties to a terrorist organization. Ankara has stressed that it would not let Sweden join the alliance - unless it carries out those extraditions.
