San (Bushmen) spiritual ceremony, healing trance dance filmed in the Kalahari Desert in Botswana (Africa) for ’Spirits of Africa’ documentary series by Ton van der Lee. The traditional healer dances for hours, gets into a trance, leaves his body to connect with the ancestors and his ’power animal’ and returns to the dance to heal the people around the fire with the power he has received.
