The Motorcycle Band (1927)

Motorcycle stunt riders filmed near Sheerness, Kent. The first trick involves the driver and pillion passenger swapping places whilst the bike is in motion. In the second trick the driver climbs over the head of the passenger and jumps off the bike. Next we see a violinist and a banjo player sitting on the shoulders of two motorcyclists, playing as they are driven along. Actually, the violinist is standing up on the motorcycle - no driver just him! A motorcyclist drives along with a see-saw type device attached to the bike with a banjo player on each end. The cycle rider appears to be singing as he drives. C/U of the three musicians. One plays the violin, another the banjo and the third a ukulele. The ukulele player sits on a motorcycle.
