Learn How to Draw & Paint “SPRINGTIME FLOWER TRUCK“ with Acrylic -Paint & Sip at Home-Fun Art Lesson

PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – Are you a beginner painter? Want to learn how to paint with acrylics? Looking for an easy spring painting idea? Let me be your acrylic art instructor as I teach you easy step-by-step instructions throughout this fun beginner art video as you learn how to paint a vintage pick-up truck with flowers in the cab—a fun landscape “SPRINGTIME FLOWER TRUCK”. The snow has melted, which can only mean one thing--it’s spring! All my favorite perennials, including, foxglove, peonies, iris, tulips, daffodils, monarda, penstemon, phlox, rudbeckia, salvia, sedum, and veronica, start blooming and, it’s time to take one big trip to my local Home Depot to stalk up on my annuals, including, zinnias, cosmos, larkspur, marigolds and sunflowers. This painting of a spring flower truck is inspired by my once-a-year trip to the garden center around mid-April—a blue vehicle with flowers overloaded in the back driving along the country road on a clear crisp sunny day. So, join me and celebrate the welcoming in of spring and the longer days, warmer weather, flowers blooming, and soil-sifting gardening, and paint this rustic country truck carrying spring flowers ready to be planted in the upcoming spring season! The painting process is so easy to follow and learn from. First, you’ll learn how to use simple painting techniques for blending colors and adding depth and atmospheric dimension for a beautiful and dramatic background by capturing a crisp spring day and creating a feel of warmth, tranquility and comfort. Then you’ll learn how to use a dotting, or stippling technique for painting foliage and grass to create the perfect looking countryside meadow landscape. Then, after learning how to draw an outline for your truck using a simple dot-to-dot method, you’ll apply a base coat to work off of. You’ll learn how to create contours and shapes on your vehicle by layering colors and adding highlights and shadows giving form and shine to the metal creating a realistic 3-D effect like a photograph. Then you’ll learn how to paint a variety of flowers using a one brushstroke technique. You can personalize your painting with your favorite flowers or vehicle, whether it’s rose, orchid, bird of paradise, daisy, pansy or lily, a bus, a Hotrod, a classic, or Telsa. This is a painting inspired by the power of imagination, so feel free to use yours! The painting process is so simple you’ll feel like it is a paint by numbers. Using only 3 brushes and 8 colors, you’ll paint like a professional! Have a date night at home, paint party, paint and sip event, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or watercolor, any medium will work! Paint just for fun or for art therapy. It’s an easy art project. I hope you enjoy watching this YouTube art video and let’s get painting and let’s get sipping!
