Pickup Upgrade for Jackson JS-12 Dinky (Making a great guitar awesome!)

In this video, I finally answer my question about inexpensive guitars: Is it worth upgrading the electronics? Can a “player“ guitar become a “sleeper“? I decided to find out by swapping out the stock Jackson pickups for the quintessential “Hot-rodded humbuckers“ pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers. In addition, I took advantage of Duncan’s four conductor wiring scheme to add a coil split functionality to each pickup, giving me even more tonal options. The results are, quite frankly, spectacular, and now this guitar is probably the most versatile I have.
