Analogy of the VA methodology and technical specification information approaches(issue #10)

Issue is devoted to the consideration of the concept of the formation of the technical assignment, using the tools of value analysis. The domestic and international regulatory documentation regulating the process of forming the technical assignment is considered, as well as the concepts of a functional basis and an alternative form of the technical assignment are introduced, providing the ability to manage the amount of direct costs for product components at the early stages of the project implementation. Separate related issues are considered, such as: the formation of analytical reports of a technical and economic orientation for the company’s management, support of the process of developing design engineering documentation and conducting commercial negotiations with suppliers by the cost engineering division, as well as setting the target value of direct costs for product components.
