Moondance - Vintage 1956 Gibson ES-175 (with P90) and 1973 Slingerland drum kit

In this video James Lewis (drums) and Andreas van Greunen (guitar) play an instrumental version of the Van Morrison classic, “Moondance“. James is using silent heads on the drums in this recording, fitted to a 1973 Slingerland kit. Andreas is playing a 1956 Gibson ES-175, the last year in which the P90 pickup was used, as in 1957 the PAF humbucker was introduced. The guitar was played into a Mesa/Boogie Lone Star amplifier, with a little compression added via an Origin Effects Cali76.
