Why Shadow Collector feels so different from our Current Collector: An Analysis | The Owl House

⭐The Collector is a favourite of many Owl House fans, including myself-- But the shift in his character from season 2-3 has seemingly been a subject of debate, and perhaps a question you’ve wondered before too. Some may accuse it of being inconsistent writing, while others may accuse it of malicious personality-- both of which are sentiments I disagree with. In this character analysis video, I have attempted to break down the reasoning (that I have inferred) behind these narrative shifts, and capture the emotional complexities that lie beneath the Collector’s whimsical exterior-- in a manner that I hope may be cohesive and thought provoking for this lovely fandom.
