The Scottish and Vikings have been a war for many years. Hiccup and Merida, the prince and princess of their respective lands, meet and fall in love. They can tell by the way the other speaks/dresses where they’re from but they don’t really care. Their dads find out, though, and it only adds fuel to the fire.
