Calliope Mori & Gawr Gura - Q (Thrash Metal Remix)

Don’t bite the hand that feeds you if it’s holding a knife... Holy crap, I’ve been waiting for a collab song between these two since forever and this new track did not disappoint. I’ve heard eufrik’s own amazing metalcore remix, but I wanted to do my own unique take on the song. With all this experimentation with new genres going on in my channel recently, I thought I’d give it a break and go back to basics. I turned to the band that inspired me to make music in the first place: Metallica. You’ll hear lots of their thrashy goodness here; I tried my best to combine their older style (Ride the Lightning/Master of Puppets) with their newer sound (Death Magnetic/Hardwired). As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also some Slayer influence mixed in there, mostly in the intro. Playing all those riffs is the fastest way to make your arm hurt...
