Libyan rebels battle Gaddafi forces in Sirte/Misrata:

Under the Gaddafi regime, rock and rap music was forbidden. As the revolution progressed, many young people began writing and producing revolution songs in many genre’s including rock and rap. This was met with opposition from more traditional/fundamentalist Libyans who argued that the revolution was not a time for music but a time for fighting. My choice to set this footage to a rock song may be controversial but I felt the words and music fitted the scene.
