Police Story TV Movie/Pilot Episode: Slow Boy

A special surveillance detail [Vic Morrow (Combat!), Harry Guardino (Dirty Harry), Ed Asner (The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Lou Grant), Ralph Meeker (Kiss Me Deadly, Paths of Glory, The Dirty Dozen)] set up to catch criminals in the act finally nabs Slow Boy [Chuck Connors (The Rifleman, Soylent Green)] while he is robbing a supermarket. Complications arise when the robber takes a hostage (Diane Baker) before the police can detain him. Other cast members include: John Karlen (Dark Shadows) and David Doyle (Charlie’s Angels).
