This fine example is painted in Navy Blue Metallic, and has the classic white vinyl interior that just sets her off. This SS is powered by a date code 1968 396 cu in big block with an Edelbrock 4-barrell carb, rated at 325-hp, mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, 12-bolt posi-traction rear end with 3:55 gears. With the sound you get from any big block – the Flow Master mufflers just takes it up a notch – and you just gotta get some more! She sits nice as well, and if you grew up in that era – then you know she has to be on Cragar wheels, and raised white letter tires! She is a real looker, the chrome bumpers and trim all look very well – whether her paint grabs you – or the big block calls to you – you’ll be taking a look. The consignor states this example to be a true SS with drum brakes, and no factory tach. She is a 3-owner, non-numbers matching car from Indiana, rotisserie restored in Ohio in 2003, and shows very little of her age, as she’s been cared for since the restoration.
