Mike Francis, aka Francesko, born Francesco Puccioni, had a glorious artistic past: He was one of the main musicians during the Eighties in Italy and abroad, conquering the European and American charts with tracks such as “Survivor“ and “Friends“ that are impossible to forget. Since 2000 his passion for World Music has taken over, leading him to create, with his brother Mario (Mari-One), and the polyhedric Maltese musician Aidan Zammit, MYSTIC DIVERSIONS, an artistic project in which music is seen as a journey made of many deviations going far and coming back, enriched and contaminated, full of different feelings and incentives. Since then, he’s produced seven albums (all published by cool d:vision/Energy), whose common characteristic is the desire to broaden as far as possible the scope of World Music in its widest sense, ranging from Latin to Brazilian, from Oriental to Afro music, all flavored with much ambient music.
