Was Dr. Barnardo really Jack the Ripper?

Dr Barnardo, who founded a network of orphanages was an odd character who appeared in court no fewer than 88 times for kidnapping children. It was at one time even suggested that he might be the man responsible for the Whitechapel murders in the autumn of 1888.
