Bojoura & The Buffoons - Day By Day • TopPop

Bojoura, the stage name of Rajna Gerardina Cleuver van Melzen, (The Hague, 15 April 1947) is a Dutch singer who achieved her greatest successes in the late 60s and 70s of the twentieth century. The Buffoons were a close-harmony group originated from the Dutch city of Enschede with repertoire from, among others, The Beach Boys and The Ivy League. The popularity of The Buffoons was not limited to the east of the Netherlands. The group got a contract with EMI; the first single was ’Tomorrow is Another Day / My World Fell Down’, a so-called double A-side, which became the first national hit and reached 8th place in the Top40 in October 1967. Four months later, the successor ’It’s The End’ scored #4 in May 1968. This special recording was made for the TV program ’Day By Day’ on 2 December 1972. Watch our great music videos ❯ More TopPop?
