Inheritors of Cities (Building History)

On today’s episode we explore an 1100 acre neighborhood that was turned into the St. Louis World’s Fair before mostly being demolished. Today’s quote was written in my journal years ago. “A fool fights with the world. A wise man fights with himself. An enlightened man stops fighting“. The shop is finally coming together and until recently I regretted opening it. It all seemed so silly and a waste of time when compared to the truth being unraveled. In the end I appreciate what I have built. More than a coffee shop, it’s a hub for community (in which my town and I were seriously lacking).
