Nylon Flowers (1954)

Nylon Flowers, Whetstone in Leicestershire. M/S and C/U Woman (Mrs Edith Barham) examining nylons. M/S Woman examining nylons. She picks up a roll of wire. C/U Unwinding a piece of wire and cutting it with pliers. C/U Placing down the wire and picking up the nylon, she begins to cut a section of the nylon with scissors. C/U Her face. C/U Finishes cutting the nylon and places the wire bent in the form of a loop in the nylon and pulls it tight over it. She binds the two together with cotton. She cuts off cotton, then trims the loose edges of nylon. C/U Her face. C/U She places down on the table, and other flowers, two petals that she has made. C/U Face. M/S She places two petals together and binds them with thread. C/U She places two petals together and binds them with thread. She adds another petal and binds them, and then she adds another. C/U Her face. C/U She finishes binding and cuts off the loose thread (or wire) then begins to shape the petals and leaves with her fingers. M/S She gives the flower a
