Kate Winslet on Sharing Her Emmy Win with Her Kids

“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers caught up with Kate Winslet after her big Emmy win! Kate Winslet took home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her role in “Mare of Easttown.” Winslet is the mother to Mia Honey Threapleton, 20, Joe Mendes, 17, and Bear Blaze Winslet, 7, and she thanked her husband Edward Abel Smith and kids in her acceptance speech. She told Jenn, “It is lovely to be able to share this with my children, who are old enough to really, really care and really get a kick out of it if I win something. I haven’t actually been at an award show for quite a while — it has been five years or something. My oldest two are 17 and 20 now and my daughter is acting, so it means something different to them now that they understand. They really see my job, they see what I go through… they were very much a part of this.”
