Central America is shaking! Strong earthquake hits El Salvador!

On August 28, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 occurred off the coast of El Salvador. The tremors occurred at 15:57 local time. The epicenter was in the Pacific Ocean at a depth of 13 km, 60 km from La Libertad. The tremors were followed by two aftershocks with a magnitude of 4.1 and 4.5. There was no threat of a tsunami.
