Woman returns Costco couch after 2.5 years of use
📍Jackie Nguyen decided to test the limits of Costco’s return policy by returning a sofa she bought 2.5 years ago. The reason for the return was simple - she just stopped liking the couch.
📍Although the woman did not have the original receipt left, she was able to get a refund because she remembered the date of purchase, which allowed Costco to verify the purchase.
📍The woman was refunded the full price of the couch to her card.
📍According to the official website, Costco can indeed refund a customer despite how much time has passed since the purchase. The exceptions are jewelry, cigarettes, alcohol, and electronics.
