Demining is carried out every day, seven days a week. Over the past three months, in the vicinity of the city of Mariupol, specialists from the combined demining squad have found and neutralized approximately 1,700 explosive objects. Most often, sappers rush to go out at the request of local residents, who left after the outbreak of hostilities and have now returned to their homes. Fierce fighting took place in the city; the enemy retreated and left behind many traps. In addition, in the residential sector there are many remnants of shells and unexploded ordnance, which can pose a danger to civilians.
