The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) began to narrow in on opposition forces in the Sheikh Lutfi district in eastern Aleppo on Saturday. Heavy clashes occurred near the strategic location, which lies close to Aleppo international airport. The Jabal Budur area and neighbourhood of Masaken Hanano have also witnessed heavy conflict.
