Les Fleurs Special Edition

When we created the artwork for Les Fleur, we knew it would be beautiful when it was finished, however we really weren’t sure of the direction the collection would head in. We stitched it out on various colors and it hung on the wall for a few months. I wasn’t excited about the way the art was drawn, so I kind of forgot about it for a while. Then I had the idea to create the design as a triptych with the flowers growing out of vases with a scroll border dividing and surrounding the flowers. The art was re-drawn and Les Fleur was born. This happens with a lot of our projects. A collection like Les Fleur can take months, or sometimes even years, to evolve and become a collection. We plan our collections months in advance, and there are a lot of moving parts involved in creating the final product. Some collections that we start may be put on the back burner for a while, and some never make it past the prototype stage. I am glad this one was finished, and I know you will love stitching it. Because Les Fleur contains very elegant embroidery designs, we decided to stitch it on black silk. We rarely stitch on black fabric, and I think the end result is both unique and stunning. There are three different flowers, and each of those flowers is created using three blocks. The border is created using 5 different designs and divides and surrounds the flowers. The final project will look beautiful hanging on your wall. We’ve included instructions with the tutorial on how to create the blocks, stitch them together and finish your project. We’ve also included detailed instructions on how much thread and fabric you will need to finish your project. One thing led to another and Steve began to teach himself graphic design, then machine embroidery, and then he combined the two when he set his sights on digitizing. This evolution allowed him to go from working with standard, generic embroidery to original, custom-designed works of art! More than 20 years later and Anita Goodesign is unquestionably the top embroidery design company in the world. With more than 50 full-time employees, we are based in Charlotte and manufacture all of our products here, from conception to completion! #AnitaGoodesign #MachineEmbroidery #AllAccess #Quilting #Embroiderydesign #Sewing #ModernEmbroidery #inthehoop #Embroidered #quilting #flowers $
