Brent Burns Shaves Head and Beard (Burnzie’s Buzzcut For Charity)

Burns agreed to a buzz cut for his unruly mane and beard as a charity fund-raiser. The effort brought in $23,903 to be divided between Defending the Blue Line, a group that provides hockey equipment to military families, and the Katie Moore Foundation, a fund for research into rare cancers established by former Shark Dominic Moore after the death of his wife. Three Sharks -- Jason Demers, James Sheppard and Adam Burish -- shared the honor of grooming Burns.
