The Indian general election is reaching its end, and national surveys predict a victory for PM Modi’s BJP in the lower house of Parliament. When asked about their pick for Prime Minister, nearly 58% of voters named incumbent Narendra Modi as the most suitable candidate, while 16% believe Rahul Gandhi to be the most suitable leader.
