The Ultimate Foghat Concert

The great Blues-Boogie-Rock band was a noted popular live act during the 1970’s. Live music and on stage Foghat was among the best. Since I first heard them in 1972, they have been my favorite band by far. Saw them numerous times live in concert. A Foghat concert was unbelievably high octane energy, and nearing the end of the concert fans would be on fumes to keep up the energy of the band. I remember how I felt back in the 1970’s during the last encore with Chateau Laffite ’59 Boogie (the long version like here). That amazing lead by Rod during the end with the song going at a blistering pace, then they bring it down to a almost smooth Jazz like tempo, then gear it up again to finish the song. It was amazing! I’m dedicating this video to the late Lonesome Dave Peverett (lead vocals/guitar) and the late Rod Price (lead guitar & slide guitar/vocals). May their music soul live on! Songs: 1. Fool for the City 2. Home in my Hand (5:30) 3. My Babe (10:27) 4. Stone Blue (14:48) 5. Eight Days on the Road (22:04) 6. It Hurts Me Too (27:55) 7. Honey Hush (37:14) 8. Sweet Home Chicago (42:51) 9. I Just Want to Make Love to You (52:01) 10. Slow Ride (1:03:19) Encores 1. Maybelline (1:11:44) 2. Chateau Laffite ’59 Boogie (1:15:57)
