Northrop Grumman X-47B First Carrier-based Arrested Landing

The Northrop Grumman X-47B Unmanned Combat Air System (UCAS) completed its first and second carrier-based arrested landing on board USS George H.W. Bush on July 10, 2013. The X-47B is not like typical UAVs that are piloted via remote control. The X-47B relies only on computer programs to tell it where to fly unless a human operator needs to step in.
