Otche nash - Kedrov - Tenebrae conducted by Nigel Short
This intimate setting of the Lord’s Prayer was written by the Russian composer Nikolay Kedrov for his own vocal quartet. Kedrov himself was a baritone, and sang at the Bolshoy and Mariinsky Theatres before forming his successful quartet in 1897.
