LIVE: Search and rescue efforts continue after Bayesian superyacht sinks off Sicily

THE £14million Bayesian superyacht rapidly sank over 160ft to the bottom of the sea after it was caught up in a tornado on Monday morning. Terrified passengers made up of mostly Brits were left screaming in fear as they were forced to cram into a lifeboat as the vessel capsized when the mast collapsed. An investigation has been launched into whether hatches were left open on the Bayesian causing the doomed yacht to sink in minutes due to “human error“. Hopes are fading fast as divers continue to search for the six missing people, including tech tycoon and yacht owner Mike Lynch.
