Full title reads: “Ready, aye, ready! Mr. W. Bridgeman first Lord of the Admiralty visits and inspects famous dockyard“. Portland Harbour (Portland Bill, Isle of Portland), Dorset. M/S of group of men, some wearing Navy uniforms, walking down sea front promenade. They pause so Mr. Willam Clive Bridgeman (civilian suit) can shake hands with another group of uniformed men. M/S of Mr. B coming out of corrugated iron hut with entourage. M/S of Mr. B. chatting to officer as he walks past more huts perched on cliff top. M/S of Mr. B. and entourage inspecting a troop of men in uniform with white helmets (policemen? coast guards?). Cuts / out takes start at 01:55:13. Various shots Mr. B. walking around village, getting into car walking on promenade. Not very different from shots in edited part of item.
