Located close to the border with Germany, it is the capital of the Bas-Rhin département. The city and the region of Alsace were historically Alemannic-speaking, which explains the city’s Germanic name. Strasbourg’s historic city centre, the Grande Île (Grand Island), was classified a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 1988, the first time such an honour was placed on an entire city centre. Economically, Strasbourg is an important centre of manufacturing and engineering, as well as a hub of road, rail, and river transportation. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Molsheim is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department in Alsace in north-eastern France. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Goxwiller is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department in Alsace in north-eastern France. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Wissembourg is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department in Alsace in northeastern France. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Weyersheim is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department in Alsace in north-eastern France. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Vendenheim is a commune in the Bas-Rhin department in Alsace in north-eastern France. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - More FrontCompVids clips are regularly added to so don’t forget to Like and Subscribe!
