This year’s Attack Suzuka saw Fire Ando and his ESCORT Evo 9 come off a new tuning car record at the track with a time of 1’ set the day before. Esprit with their NSX, piloted by Nob Taniguchi was aiming to surpass that time and rise to the top of the Suzuka tuning car ranking board. Numerous Attack regulars also participated in hopes of setting new personal best lap times.
