The Draw Slice: Test Attempt - Sword vs. Cloth

Thanks to Syndaver for providing the realistic synthetic flesh analog: Also a thank you to Medieval Market for the gambeson samples: I wanted to shed some light on the efficiency of slicing cuts (or lack thereof) but unfortunately the results of this testing weren’t as clear-cut (harhar) as I was hoping. In hindsight I should have examined the edges more closely beforehand, and perhaps deliberately tested different types of sharpening. A toothier edge may do quite a bit better than a very finely honed one. Either way this requires a very sharp blade, and it’s nowhere near as damaging as a committed hewing cut.
