IDF destroy 6 mile Hamas tunnel underneath a hospital and university in Gaza. The IDF has discovered and destroyed a six-mile Hamas tunnel network which connected a hospital and a university building on the southern side of Gaza City. The tunnel ran from the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital on the outskirts of the city, northwards towards Israa University campus and onwards to the Zeitoun neighbourhood, with dozens of shafts leading down into it. Israel said the tunnel complex was used by Hamas’s Zeithoun Brigade to move around, shelter and store weapons.
