In connection with the adoption of the Federal Law No. 111-FZ dated the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and its subordinate governmental agencies were vested with supervisory powers. Exercise of the powers entrusted on the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation highlighted the need to create the unified automated analytical platform. Implementation of the proposed project will allow creation of the accounting system for the jewelry circulated in the territory of the Russian Federation. It will contribute to reduction of counterfeit and contraband production in the market, improvement of the system of forming objective and comprehensive sectoral statistical reporting, as well as reduction of the impact on business by simplifying procedures of information return and entering a special register. Why is it expedient to switch to the new pattern of control and supervision within the Reform of control and supervisory activity? How will the database created help to reduce shadow economy of precious metals and stones market? Who will have access to the database? What information is expedient to be integrated from the existing departmental electronic systems (General Prosecutor of the Russian Federation, Federal Customs Service of Russia, and Federal Tax Service of Russia)?
