During busy day, their Majesties open great new Kelvin Hall…place memorial stone on the new “George the fifth bridge“ - the strongest bridge ever built…and place reef on the Cenotaph.“ Glasgow, Scotland The royal couple are seen being driven slowly along in an open backed limousine. The street is lined on both sides by soldiers holding rifles, with crowds waiting patiently behind them. They draw up to a canopied entrance and are met by two officials, one wearing full length ermine robes. L/S from below of the couple on a balcony, waving to the crowd.
