Agustin Barrios - Variations on a theme of Tarrega

I was surprised to find out that this fine set of variations wasn’t uploaded yet on youtube! So... here it is! It was composed by Barrios in Guatemala in 1939. The theme is the well known student work “Lagrima“. This set of variations is one of his most mature compositions, reflecting a lifetime of devotion and a thorough mastery of the instrument he loved.
