T-7A Red Hawk “Red Tail” jet makes debut

The first engineering and manufacturing development #T7A Red Hawk advanced trainer makes its debut. The advanced trainer jet carries tails of red to honor the Tuskegee Airmen who flew red tailed P-51 Mustangs during World War II. This first T-7A Red Hawk is scheduled to undergo ground and taxi tests before its first flight later this year and will be the first jet to be delivered to the U.S. Air Force.
